"nocturnes électriques" - live sound machines

Think of the global space as one big resonator, where mechanisms are connected to electrical cords and amplified by two bass amplifiers. Sound, movement and light are all produced live. Cords, amplifiers, metal, electrical motors and lights create moments of poetry and intensity. It’s at once a toy and an instrument. There is no narrative, just archetypes of relationships between living subjects, insofar as they can move. Direct confrontations, solitary musings, and vain searches are in turn desperate, funny, or ridiculous. Endless waiting gives way to sounds of useless fury.

What we see, and hear, are machines that don’t know how to do anything, except transform electrical currents into movement.
